Love to DANCE... Sketches in Thyme #131 reveal!!

I had fun with this!!  Our daughter's 2nd ever Hip Hop dance recital this past summer.  She was super sick for 2 weeks prior.  We weren't sure if she could pull this off.  And she did!  She quite amazed us with her talents since her Mother and Father clearly do not have these skills.  LOL!  (Well maybe I do behind closed doors when no one is looking and the stereo is blasting.  :) )

Good morning!!  ***  Go HERE for the Sketches in Thyme Hop  :) Hey everyone!  I'm here to share with you a layout for the latest challenge over at  Lasting Memories!!   It's the beginning of our September challenges.  They go all month.  Your chance to win a prize, be featured, monthly top 3 or GDT for the month of November are all up for grabs. Sketches in Thyme BIG Re-Grandopening Blog Hop!!

Hello fellow scrappin' friends! You should have arrived here from LEA's blog.   I am VERY excited to share with you that I am now a part of the Sketches in Thyme Creative Team!!   Been hiding that news for about a week!  :) The original owner, Kim,  has come back and is Re-opening her blog with a fun Blog Hop party!!  So many awesome talented CT members to go visit!  Not to mention a super wonderful PRIZE is up for grabs and last but not least a perfect sketch to play with during the month of September.  This will be 1 of 2 sketches to create with.  Sketch 2 will be revealed on the 15th.

I enjoyed making this layout.  We recently took a spur of the moment quick vacation to the Olympic Peninsula.  Lots of Hiking, Rain Forests, Wild life, Waterfalls and the above beautiful beach is what we explored.  So many hidden gems to find in this great world we live in, and this was one of them.  I'm determined to get this mini vaca scrapped.  So more to come!

I kept this super simple for I wanted the various circles to represent the feel of a pool, bubbles, water etc.  Added my buttons around the title so it would stand out a bit.  :)

"You're the Best" - Fresh Brewed Designs - In the sky challenge

Happy Tuesday!!  This is a quick post.  It is soooo incredibly HOT here... so not only does this card show where I would rather be, it's one I made for a special someone that does a ton for all of us.  :)
I was inspired by the challenge over at FRESHED BREWED DESIGNSwhere it's an  "In the Sky" challenge.   So here is my SCENE with sun, clouds, birds galore.
I also had the privilege of getting to use this image called  "Granny Beach Chair" from the Fresh Brewed Digi Store Freshed Brewed Digi Store itself. I love it!!  It's perfect!! Lasting Memories # 198 "My Country Tis of Thee"

Happy Holiday weekend and week to all of my US and Canada friends!!   With that said, the newest Lasting Memories challenge to kick off JULY is themed "My Country Tis of Thee." LMCB 198 Do a layout about a place you like to visit in your country. I was able to to do this no problem! There are 2 main places we love to go to every 4th of July... and in 2012, we were able to go to both of them!  :) My Husband's parents live on an island right on the water, so the beach we went to for the actual 4th.  Family, fishing, food, fun and fireworks! Then from July 6th to 8th, we trekked over to my parent's summer place that is on a river where there is a parade, pool time, boat time, beach time and then a great fireworks show!! We are fortunate to be able to have these places to visit and have our fun!!
