And here is my "Older Style" of scrapbooking layout to share.
I actually created this layout about 6 years ago. So... I didn't take the "Challenge" of the challenge... but didn't want you all to miss out on participating yourselves. My Mom's birthday is near Mother's day... so we usually do a combined celebration every year. My parents are very active in their retirement years... so to get a day on the calendar with them is sometimes hard to accomplish.
Ohhh... the things that I would not do today when creating a page. Sort of fun to look back and see how we improve with our crafting endeavors. I am mostly noticing the stamped images and how they were not inked thoroughly. And eyelets... ohhhh how I have so many to use!! Well enough of critiquing my old work. It makes me want to completely redo a whole album. But that is silly. What's the point? :-)

what wonderful photos Michele!!! It is neat to go back and look at older layouts....thats why we make em right? :) So cool that you have an extended birthday/mom's day celebration.....makes those memories that much more special!!
Michele I am so with you. Would love to redo my daughters pages. Used to think the stickers and doodles were so special. LOL But just need to focus on now and grandbabies. Love the colors of your layout and believe me it looks way better than mine did.

What a fun LO! I have many pg's I would like to redo as well, BUT I also like looking back and I can see how far I've come.
Such a great page and what a special way to celebrate. I too love looking back at my older pages and have redone some of them, but just can't redo all of them I will never catch up.
Your critiquing cracaks me up. i have pages like that too, but wouldn't dream of changin them. What's done is done. i'd be to far behind if I started over on all the disliked Layouts
