Lasting Memories Ch #60 - Let's see some DIMENSION!!

Good morning all!  We have a fun and VERY EASY challenge today starting over at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges.  Who doesn't like EASY??  We want to see some dimension!!  Whether it's dimensional elements, letters or something cool that you do with your photos to add dimension... we want to see it. 

I am really not trying to rush the Holidays.  We haven't even hit Halloween yet... and here I am showing you a Thanksgiving layout.  But I just had to. (although my Canadian friends will appreciate this.)  I love my CUTE little turkey guy.  Which is my DIMENSIONAL element to share.

Here is a close-up.

Lots of scalloped circle punches for his feathers and POPPED up with some dimensionals for a 3-d effect.. and there you have it!!

PPC - CC 75 - Thinking of You Card

Happy Monday to all of you!!  Monday brings many "Starts" of things... and today it's another Picture Perfect Creations...crafty challenges for you to participate in!  I was a little stumped by these colors (thus a "challenge")... but then magically.. .and idea popped into my head. 

Here is the color combo that inspired me... and will hopefully inspire YOU.

I, Personally had my kids make a card each for "Izzy"... and then I made the above card for the Mom, Evanna.  I can't imagine what she is going through, and this all just reminds most of us of how lucky we are.

LMCB 59 "TAG" You're it! - Back to School 2011 Layout

Good morning everyone!!  Today over at Lasting Memories Ch 59 we want you to show off those TAGS on your layouts!! 

I've got a couple on my layout.  The "2011" and the "2".  This is one of those layouts that "Grabs" at me as I am finishing the final touches.  My kiddos on the first day of school and the 2nd part of the journaling says  "You could not say 'Goodbye' fast enough."  A happy/sad moment for sure.  The kids LOVE school and I feel sorry for myself that they aren't itty bitty babies anymore.  ;-)

Karen, from Lasting Memories also provided this SKETCH to follow.  But, it's to help you.  You don't have to use it for the challenge.

I am also entering this into the Getting Scrappy Ch 18 - "Get INKY" - You need to show a Cricut/SVG cut somewhere on your layout and that you used INK.

My Apple and main part of my Title are my Cricut cuts and my stamped apples around the circle and the "2" tag qualify for my INK.

A bit of a blogging break.

Hello my friends!!  I sort of took an unintended "Break" from my scrappin', card making and blogging this last week.  Life just sometimes gets in the way.  And well... like a broken record... I always say "I need more hours in the day, days in the week, weeks in the month" and on an on.  :-) 
But... STAY TUNED... I will be back.  I am cookin' up some projects to share with all of you.
