"Thoughts Of You Warm My Heart" - DDC # 32 Z-Fold Card

Hello everyone!!  So I am here to remind you about the FUN challenge going on over at
Digi Darla's this week!!  I first told you about this on Monday... but finally have my card to show you.
(I've been working behind the 8 ball lately.  :) )

 HOW DO YOU FOLD??

Show us fun and creative ways that you fold your cards or projects!!

I chose a pretty basic "Z-FOLD" for my card using a DIGI DARLA image called
"A Cup of Heart Chocolate"
Awww... doesn't that make you all warm and tingly inside??
I made this card for my Hubby just because!!  He RARELY checks out my blog, so I should be able to sneak it at him as a surprise. We are huge Hot Cocoa/Coffee drinkers, so this was perfect.

And all opened up...

Quick directions on how I folded this...
Just start out with a piece of card stock cut at 4 1/4" x 9 3/4".
Score it at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Then just alternate the folds and voila!!
Decorate until your heart is content!!

I was also very inspired by the challenge over at The Paper Players # 116 where the theme is "Cup of Joy."  Use a cup or cups!  Well, I hope they like mine... cuz I do.  :)

Thanks for looking and see you soon with another project/challenge!!
Happy Day!!

Supplies:
Cardstock:  SU Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Real Red Pawsitively Prints DSP.

Embellies:  SU Triple heart punch, Eyelet border punch, Small Oval punch, Creative Memories circle cutters, Crumb Cake 5/8" ribbon, Markers, pencils and blender pens to color image.

DDC 23 - How SWEET it is to be loved by you!!

Hello everyone!!  A quick HELLO to let you all know that I have not disappeared.  It's summertime... and that means a recent family vacation was had, full fledge soccer tournaments with our daughter, and amidst our HEAT WAVE that is going on now, our family managed to attend some of the annual SEAFAIR festivities this weekend.  I've been busy having fun... and am glad to have calmed down a bit in our COOL downstairs to create a few things.  So... thanks for hanging in there with me... and read on further to learn about a wonderful blog hop going on with an AWESOME prize!!  :-)

Hello stamping friends!! It's time for another new release hop this week over at Digi Darla's! We'll be showcasing some of the JULY new releases at our sister site - Digital Stamp Club!! Each of us on the DT chose an image from all of the July releases to show you and guess what!! Each one of us will be choosing one lucky winning comment to receive our image choice!! So make sure you hop around to all our blogs and be sure to comment for a chance to win a DD image!!! We're also giving away a GRAND PRIZE!! Just for joining us, using a DIGI DARLA image, you will have a chance to win ALL of theJuly's New Release images!!! OMGosh!!

So, let's get this party started, shall we?? If you've arrived here from VANESSA then you are on the right track!! If you're just arriving, please be sure to start at the very beginning, Denise's blog, so you don't miss one thing!! Our challenge this week is "Musical Lyrics" - we want to see a musical lyric on your creation. Any era, genre, it's completely up to you. Can even be a children's song!

And here's my creation using Digi Darla's "Brother N' Sister Sharing"

Even though this is a "Brother N' Sister" image... I am using it for more of a romantic image for a spouse or significant other.  My song Lyric "How sweet it is to be loved by you" by Marvin Gay or James Taylor... depending on what version song you know...
was perfect for this sweet image.  I printed the sentiment (Lyric) from my computer and the rest of the products used are from Stampin' Up.
Now before you leave, be sure to leave me a comment for a chance to win this fabulous image!! Don't forget to join our challenge this week for a chance to win the entire July Release-you need to use a Digi Darla image!!!
If you don't have one, please email Karen and she'll send you a past freebie!

Your next stop is the super talented KAREN!! Happy hopping and look fwd to seeing you at Digi Darla's this week!! Good luck!

PPC Ch. #67 - "Love" is in the Air...

Happy Monday to you all once again!!  It's time for PPC Ch. 67!!  I thought of this color combo as a little "Monochromatic"... but ended up loving it once I finished.  I made this card for my Husband as a "Teaser" card for our 10th anniversary.  I have ANOTHER card that (sigh) that I actually bought at the store... but I am surprising him with a gift with that card.  So I ended up making another card to make him think he was JUST getting a card.  :-)  So sneaky... and hopefully... when all is said and done.. he loves both cards and he loves his gift.  We really don't do gifts for anniversaries... so I am going out on a limb with a little surprise.  :-)
Here is my teaser card I made for him...

Here is the color combo for this week.  I love it!!  Just stumped me at the beginning.

Let's see what you got this week.  Come on over to PPC and join us.  The DT has some great stuff to check out!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
