Fresh Brewed Designs Digi Release!! "Little Fireman"

Happy Monday!  Happy start to a new week!  I am here to share with you the new DIGI RELEASE from
Fresh Brewed Designs!!
(You can see all the inspiration here!!)

Woo Hoo!!
I am honored to be a Guest Designer and am so excited that I get to be a part of this and hopefully inspire you to want to create with these cutie patootie images.

It's all about "Let's Play Dress Up."

I am showing the new image

LITTLE FIREMAN

At first I was going to make this a Trick or Treat / Halloween card... but them remembered that it is "Fire Prevention week" at our son's school.  Might be the perfect opportunity to say "Thank You" to those that watch out for us at all hours of the day/night.

This is just one of a handful of new releases... so got check out Heather's fabulous digi images all releasing today!

(You can purchase the images at this link)

I also want to mention that I was inspired by the sketch from the Mojo Monday blog.
My card measures 3.5 x 6".  Tall and skinny is the theme.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have fun scouting out the other creations.  :)

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 - "Computer Guy"

Gosh, here I am again making another masculine card.  Not my specialty.  But found this GREAT digi image from  Mo's Digital Pencil to help me.  So glad this image was available!  It's perfect for a card I made a family friend that is a computer wizard.  He helps us often with ours!  Can't thank him enough!!  He'll get a kick out of this.  :)

With the exception of the image, all the other products are from Stampin' Up.  In fact the patteren paper is a REALLY OLD retired set called "Tree House."  It's perfect for the masculine colors I needed.  Then some candy enamel dots, twine, colored with SU pencils and Prisma Pencils and voila.  Not a lot of fluff to add.

I also used the sketch from SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 2 #19 for my starting point.
I printed my image a tad bigger than I intended... so didn't include the circle part of the sketch, but the rest is all there.

Thanks for taking a look!  I'm glad  was able to join this sketch challenge.  It's been a while.
Happy Weekend all!

Happy "50th" masculine B-Day card

Hello friends!!  It's not every day or even every month for that matter, that I make a masculine card.  They challenge me to no end.  I like frills and fluff... so had to put my thinking cap on for this one.
My Mom needed a Poker/Casino type themed card for a friend that is turning the big 50!  I think I pretty much love how this turned out.  These ideas come to me in my sleep.  Go figure.  I could be thinking of worse things.  :)

So... most of the products used here are from Stampin' Up.  Cardstock, border punch, circle punch, "rectangle" hand held punch, white gel pen, real red marker and the Birthday sentiment.
The "50" are stickers from my stash and the card image is from google images.  :)  Gotta love the internet and a printer.  I did make that Poker Chip with my own 2 hands.  White and Red circle punch overlapped on each other with thin white gel pen lines in the center and the thicker white dashes are and OLD retired hand held punch from SU.

I used the MOJO Monday 348 sketch for my inspiration.
It's a contest this week as well.  :)

And I would also like to enter my card into "Splendiferous Creations" Blogger challenge.
The challenge is to make a "MASCULINE" card.
Yep... my challenge alright.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'll be seeing you all a little more often these days, my crafty to do list is quite large.
Happy day to all of you.

Digi Darla's # 65 "Make It Masculine" along with a Card Sketch from ASC # 33

Hello everyone!  Happy Monday.  Today I have a simple, yet full of thought card to share with you.  Made this for my Dad for Father's Day.  Hopefully he doesn't check my blog out.  He is an AVID softball player at an age of near 70.  (almost 67).  He travels to play all over the Western United States.  He is not growing up.  Let me tell you.  :)
This image from Digi Darla called "GRAND SLAM" is perfecto!!

Our theme challenge for Digi Darla's this week is "Make It Masculine."  Won't you love to join us?  You have a chance to win 8 Digi Images.  5 for playing along and an extra 3 for using a DD image.  Easy!!

I used Prisma colored pencils to color the image, and Stampin' Up products for the basics of the card.

I am also entering my card along with Leanne over for her June Card Sketch Challenge at Artful Delight... delightful inspiration ASC 33.  I flipped the sketch on it's side.  Yay!  Glad I could play along over there.  GREAT Card and Scrap kits over there!!

JUNE CARD SKETCH ASC #33

Thanks everyone for taking a peak.  Will be back soon with a scrap layout.  Sort of worked backwards this weekend.  Am I the only one that does that?  LOL.  When things come to me, I have to act on them.  See you all soon.
