If you have come from CHARLOTTE  then you are in the right place, if not then please start back at the beginning at Michelle's blog HERE.

This time around we have a very special person joining us along with some of his very own design team who made an entire set of digi's especially for Emily!
Who is this amazing person??
He is giving this set to anyone who wants it.. But the catch is you have to use one on a card for Emily and then you get the rest of the set as a Thank You! How awesome is that!? All you have to do is email him at Dustin_pike@yahoo.com with your choice of image and then link it up HERE to get your full set! Please also link it up back here on Michelle's blog so we can all see it too! Then mail them to
Emily Ziemathis
5134 Berger Dr. SE
Lacey, WA 98513

Here is Dustin's digi set if you choose to use them:
(You can definitely make her a card using any other image or cuts if you want!)

Here is my card for Emily...
I used an already colored digi (DNB4) from Dustin Pike.  I fussy cut it, popped it up with dimensionals, added some fussy cut fringed grass, sentiment, gate fold with button/twine closure.  All other supplies are from Stampin' Up.  Pretty simple card.  I wanted the image to be the center of attention!!

Close-up of the button closure gate fold tied with twine...

And what is a Blog Hop without some blog candy??

A goody bag of buttons, brads, hemp twine, ribbon, bling, wooden tags can be yours by leaving a comment on this post and becoming a FOLLOWER or tell me you already are! :-)

Thank you so much for hopping with us and I hope you make a card and bring a smile to Emily!
I can't wait to see all your cards this time around, she has loved all the cards so far!

Left side of my 2 Pager...

Right side of my 2 pager...

PLG #23 - "Kiss Me I'm Irish" and some challenge friends

Hello my crafty friends!!  This week is just cruising by for me.  I am also feeling very productive in the crafty department.  I may sacrafice 1 to 3 hours of sleep at times.. but it jazzes me up to know that another layout gets to adorn our albums.  I also caught my kiddos looking through 3 of my main scrap albums the other day.  Sister reading the journaling to Brother.  I'm sure alot of you know how that feels, but I am here to emphasize that it is so bittersweet and makes me so happy that I started keeping our memories this way.
Okay... now that I just went on that little tangent... back to my crafty post and all the fun challenges that I followed to help me create this.  :-)
My layout today showcases some really cool "Double" rainbows that we saw out our front living room window last year in March.  Our house faces a mountain range.  So alot of openness and a chance to see fun things.  Our son was in such awe... and at the age of 4 was so determined to see Mr. Leprechaun.  He also wanted to immediately go on a hike to find the Pot of Gold.  Ohhhhhhh my precious!!

Here is my layout to share...

Close up of the Rainbow banner, green clover leafs, title...(not crazy about my title, but I was running out of room.)

And from a different angle...the Pot of Gold

Paper Lovin' Gals # 23 - has a wonderful IRISH photo for your inspiration.  My inspiration was the green, white, the hanging puff ball banner and the words.  Lucky Rainbows always come to mind when thinking of St. Patrick's Day.  If ony this year we could be so lucky!!  You have until Wednesday, March 21st @ 8pm to play along!!

Creative Scrappers Sketch # 199 helped me with my whole placing of my layout.  Some fun sketches to try over there.  You have until the end of March to try at least 1 of their 5  "March" sketches.  This is my first time entering, even though I have drooled over their sktches for quite some time.  Go see.  :-)

Getting Scrappy - "Color Me Lucky" - is all about using the color GREEN on your layout and including a Cricut or SVG cut.  My Title and Pot of Gold are cut from the Simply Charmed cart and my Clover Leafs are from Paper Doll Dress-up.  Always happy to join Amanda and her DT for their challenges.  You have until this Sunday to play along!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments # 109 - RAINBOWS is a new challenge blog I found.  :-)  They are a group of Stampin' Up Ladies...(which  I have PLENTY of that product on most of my creations)... that just happened to be having a challenge that is all about Rainbows.  Well... I have the obvious photos and then my fun Pennant Banner that I made with the SU Pennant Builder punch.  So I had to join these Gals for the fun.  Also... You don't have to use SU products.  The welcome any and all.

Lasting Memories # 79 "We are feeling LUCKY."  Last but not least... this is a REMINDER call out to all of you that we have a challenge going on until Saturday at 9pm EST.  With a PRIZE!!  You just need to use the word LUCKY somewhere on your layout.  I have it written in my journaling.  So of course I am going to share with my group.  If you want to see my FIRST layout I made for this challenge, click HERE.

Boy... chatty post.  If you made it this far.. THANK YOU!!!  :-)

Lasting Memories Ch. 79 "We're feeling LUCKY"

It's another week... which means another challenge over at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges!!  Yay!!  I really liked all the elements to this weeks challenge, and I hope you will too.
Now, this weeks challenge is a little different. We have 3 elements to it if you REALLY want to challenge yourself, but only ONE is mandatory!
We want to see the word LUCKY on your layout - this can be the title, journaling - as long as we see it and this is MANDATORY to be considered for the PRIZE or part of the TOP 3.

  1. If you want a little more challenge, add in what you find inspiring about the photo below (my layout photos) (NOT mandatory)
  2. Or challenge yourself by using the word LUCKY and the below sketch. Again, this one is NOT mandatory
  3. REALLY want to challenge yourself?? Along with the word LUCKY, try the sketch AND photo!

Here is my layout to share with all of you...I actually was able to incorporate all 3 pieces of the challenge!  The word "LUCKY", the Sketch and the Photo (colors) for inpspiration.

And some close-ups of the word LUCKY that I used in my Title and 2 more times in my journaling.  I added some faux stitching around the border.  My banner and flowers are die-cuts.  Added some bling to all flower centers for some added shine.  I also added an additional journaling tag at the top behind my main photo that has a personal message to the kids from me.  :-)

Here is the sketch to follow, if you choose.

Here is the Photo to use for inspiration, if you should choose.

Oh and one more thing - we have ANOTHER giveaway!! In honor of her birthday, Suzanne is offering up this FAB prize ... !!  I also highly suggest you check out Suzanne's blog.  She is full of creativity!!  She does the Cricut justice!!  Happy Birthday Suzanne!!!

LMCB # 78 - Color Challenge with a Sketch!! ... and a PRIZE!!

Good Evening Fellow Bloggers!!  I am about a half a day late in letting you all know about the next fun challenge over at  Lasting Memories Layout Challenges.  It's all about this Springy Photo AND the fun Sketch!!  What can you create using these 2 items for your inspiration??  I sure would love to see!!  Look at the photo closely... there are some black framed photos, polka dots on the ceiling, some grey, white and pink colors along with all the other pastels.

And here is the SKETCH to follow.  Normally we just provide the sketch for inspiration, but this time we want to see you USE this as well!!

And remember... just because it looks like an "Easter" sketch... doesn't mean you have to do an Easter layout.  IN FACT... besides the layout I am showing you here tonight... I have another one in the works... and it is surely NOT Easter themed.  So get creative!  :-)
But yes... here is my Easter Egg coloring layout to share with you.  I actually created this about a year ago and wanted to share, since it matched the challenge perfectly.  (I also didn't finish my other layout quite yet.)  Working on a 2-pager.

AAAAANNNNDDDDDD... what is this you ask?  Well it is a FABULOUS prize package from our fearless Blog Leader KAREN.  What fun things to win!!  You can't win if you don't play.

Link up your Layout for LMCB 78 by Saturday, March 10th @ 9pm EST HERE  for your chance to WIN, Be a part of our TOP 3 or to be FEATURED throughout the week.  Looking forward to seeing you and your stuff!!

Which came first??? Blog Hop

Memories In Tyme Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Which Came First???" Blog Hop!!

Who knew that a single piece of paper or a tiny rubber stamp would start an addiction that could overtake our dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms???   What started it for you?  Did you start by stamping cards and then progress to scrapbooking?  Were you an avid picture-taker turned cardmaker?  Or did you pick something from the start and stick with it?  Join us on our adventure as we share how we each got started in the scrapbooking and stamping craft!!  You'll find some fun stories, neat projects, and awesome folks along the way, we hope you'll enjoy each and every moment!!

Let's get hopping!!  If you've hopped over from KIMBERLY, then you are in the right place!!  If you've just popped in to visit my blog or are reading this via email and you'd like to join our FUN, then please CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Lynda's blog...

For the hop today, I've posted a few double page layouts that I have created within the last year.  These are layouts that best show how I now love to use, patterned paper, die cuts, punches, embellishments, fun letter alphas... and what would I do without some sketches to follow??

And for fun... some of us are posting a very OLD layout that we have done to show how far we've come in the scrapbooking/stamping world.

Mine is from 10 years ago when I was pregnant.  LOTS OF STICKERS was the popular thing back then.  Those rounded corner punches for the photos and no backing on the photos.  Uggh.. what was I thinking??  I remember I owned stamps back then, but didn't think to use them on my layouts.  I would use the very few that I owned for card making.

So to answer the infamous question from our Blog Hop... "WHICH CAME FIRST?"  ...
I made my first scrapbook for a friend in High School 20 years ago.  I sort of took a break and then was introduced to Stampin' Up in 1996.  A few cards here and there... then full on Scrapbooking started in 1999.  I scrapbook and make cards on a pretty equal basis now and as much as I can.

Thank you again for checking out my projects...  Now follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!!

Your next hop stop is..... the ever talented AMY!!  Have fun!!
