Welcome to Sunday!! Which means it's time for another layout challenge over at
Lasting Memories!! And a WINNER for last weeks blog candy!! This week we are challenging you to show us the MOSAIC technique. This is not my usual choice of ways to scrap my photos.. .but as I got going ... I felt like I was putting together a jigsaw puzzle and even did a DOUBLE page layout! :-) It was fun!!!!

I feel like I am "Wishing Summer Away" with my recent End of summer scrap layouts that I have posted. NO GOSH NOT AT ALL. Summer is my favorite time of year... so I am naturally going to those pictures and scrapping them. I have ALOT!! I started as a chronological scrapper... but went crazy trying to keep up. So I am now an Inspirational scrapper. Try this if you find yourself overwhelmed or in a slump. The most important thing is to get your memories preserved and it shouldn't be a "Job."
I had alot of pictures for this layout... and with the linear look of Mosaic... thought it brought all my pics together well. You don't need alot of embellishments for this kind of layout, for the mosaic look sort of "Outshines" eveyrthing. I would say my one bit advice for attempting this look is to pick ONE size of square and stick with it. All of mine are 1" x 1". Even the colored pieces going across the bottom and top of the pages. Let's see what you can do. I would LOVE to see! If I can do this... YOU can do this. Come on over and join the
Lasting Memories 46 Mosaic challenge. The DT has some GREAT things to show you as well. Many different ideas!!
You have until Saturday, July 16th, 9:00pm EST to link up your layout.
