I am always needing cards without sentiments "Just ready to go."  That is one of these.  I need to have a few more on hand.  Anything from "Thinking of you" to "Get Well" to ???  would work with this.

Just Us - LMCB # 132 (Clean and Simple) and a DT call!!!!

Good morning everyone!!  We have a great challenge over at
 Lasting Memories Layout Challenges #132 that starts today!
 It's all about CAS or "Clean and Simple." 

(Go to bottom of this post for info. about a DT call!!! )

 I feel that most of my layouts are on the clean and simple side.  If I add too much... they won't fit into my albums.  Here is my layout to share...  Other than the simplicity of the layout in general... I want to highlight that my title is "Simple" as well. My Husband planned a fun date night for US for my birthday celebration last month.  The highlight was seeing Cirque Du Soleil, Amaluna.  Oh My... talk about performers with no fear and such strength!  Wish I had photos to share... but none allowed.

 My first layout for 2013.  Yay!!  I still have about 8 years of random layouts to do... but who's keeping track?  :)

All supplies are from Stampin' Up except the alpha stickers for the title.

I used the bottom row.  I have the Patterned hearts paper, Lace below the photo along with a metal button to the right and I faux stitched around the edges of the layout.

DDC 54 - Easter/Spring - Happy Easter Layout

It's the start of the latest challenge over at DIGI DARLA's!!  We want to see your EASTER and/or SPRING creations!!  Oh how I am ready for some sunshine.  We have had lots of teasing weather where I live.  Just wish it would make up it's mind.  And I have noticed our kiddos are much happier when the sun is out!!

In addition, I had some inspiration from the following 2 challenges.

A sketch from Just Add Ink #15 and their latest Scrapbooking challenge.  I used the sketch TWICE by flipping it around for the right page.  :)


and a color challenge from Color Throwdown # 233.  It was hard to stick to JUST these colors for a double page spread.. .but  I actually managed.  :)

LMCB 131 GREEN - "2" Wheels Layout

Hi everyone... so today is the start of a new challenge over at Lasting Memories Layout challenges!!  In honor of St. Patrick's Day... we want to see GREEN on those layouts!!  Easy enough!!
I had a few GREEN options to scrap about... so you just may see me a few times this week honoring this challenge.
In following my kiddos requests of scrapping certain things, I chose to scrap about our son who just learned how to ride his bike without training wheels.  Talk about huge FEAR straight to "Whoa, that's easy.  Look at me!!  "  :)

I created my card for my Niece that is turning 4 this month.  She has been taking ballet classes for a while now and my guess is she is a wonderful Tiny Dancer!!  I live a few States away, so I don't get to see her much.  I think she will like her card though!  It looks just like her!!

"Skylanders" - LMCB # 129 - Use 2 or 3 of something and Boys Rule February Sketch

Good morning all!!  Sunday... my favorite day of the week!  Sleeping in, Chocolate chip pancakes and for now, nothing on the calendar.  Awwwwwwww.  Hope you all find Sundays just as enjoyable and maybe get some scrappin' time in??  Well if you plan on it, come on over to Lasting Memories Layout Challenges and check out the new challenge!!  It's an EASY one.  And we have a PRIZE!!

"Two's Company, Three is a Crowd"

Use either 2 or 3 of something on your layouts!  

I chose to showcase 3 pictures on my layout.  I also have 2 journaling spots and 2 rows of arrows.  But I am mostly focusing on the 3 photos for this challenge.

I am seeing a trend to my scrapbooking lately.  My kids are requesting the layouts that I do next.  It's working!  I find when they ask me to scrap about something about them, of course I want to do it faster to see their smile when they see the finished product.  Pretty cool.  

This is our son and his infatuation with the X-box Video Game SKYLANDERS.  Each little figure that you see does something completely different in the game and there are almost 70 of these little guys to collect.  (Oh lucky us!!  :)  )  He is up to 26.  Many with his own money.  Oh the trends these days.
