Happy Sunday everyone!! Sundays brings the newest challenge over at Lasting Memories!!
We're going on a TREASURE HUNT!!! Scrap about something you TREASURE and tell us the story behind it!! This could be family, a vacation spot, your home, a piece of jewelry... anything really!!
I chose to share about our FIRST Family Bike Ride!! I TREASURE the simple things we do as a family... for I know that as the kids get older... things will get busier and before you know it, they are adults and on their own. We always try to pick one day out of the week, usually Saturdays or Sundays, and do something that involves all of us!! This is a spontaneous bike ride we took last year. Thought it was going to rain.. but we didn't care. It was fun and the kids loved it!!
Here is a close-up of the bikes (cut from Going Places Cricut cart) with some added bling in the centers of the tires.
And a close-up of the journaling.
Julie is also giving an awesome prize to one lucky winner!!! Check this out!!
Just link up your layout by Saturday, May 5th at 9pm EST HERE for your chance to WIN!! Or be a part of our Top 3 or be Featured throughout the week.
I am also joining the Gals over at FANTABULOUS CRICUT Challenge Me Monday # 108 for their "On the Go" challenge. Use a Bike, Car, Train, Plane, Bus... anything that MOVES. I was inspired by their challenge to scrap these photos that have been sitting in a pile for the last year! :-)
And... I also followed another wonderful sketch from SKETCHES IN THYME - sketch 76. I varied it slightly with my photos.. for I had 5 photos to use instead of 4. But otherwise, the whole sketch it theirs!!
Thanks so much for taking a peak!! I hope you all have a great Sunday! Now we are off to do some Family stuff. I think another layout will be in the works!! :-)
